Just a minute’s walk from the entrance to the Higashi Chaya District.
Children aged 6 and under cannot participate in the event.
The performance venue is on the second floor of the building and can only be reached by stairs.

Arrive at Kanazawa Asanogawa Enyukai Hall by 16:15. The museum is open for a visit between 14:00 and 16:15pm. To visit it, present your event e-ticket at the reception on the day.

An evening starts with a dreamlike dancing and shamisen performance by 2 Geiko - jikata who sings and plays the shamisen and tachikata who performs at the front.

Join the Geiko and play the traditional ozashiki party games, which are one of the fun aspects of the geisha party which is usually enjoyed with a group of close friends or colleagues.

A precious opportunity to have a casual conversation with the Geiko - ask them questions and get familiarised with their culture.
Things to know
Museum visit
A event ticket includes admission to the museum of chaya culture and Kanazawa Geiko at Kanazawa Asanogawa Enyukai Hall.
Please present your event e-ticket at the reception to visit the museum between 14:00 and 16:15 on the day of the event.
Photography
Photography is allowed in some parts of the event (not during the performance); however, we ask that you refrain from using a tripod or large equipment.
Last entry time
Children aged 6 and under cannot participate in the event.
Socks
To enter the venue, please make sure you are wearing socks.Walking barefoot may damage the Japanese tatami mat floors.
Food and drinks
Outside food and drinks in cups are not permitted.
Bottled drinks are allowed.
Age limit
Since the performance starts at 16:30, we ask all guests to be seated by 16:25.
The performance venue is on the second floor of the building and can only be reached by stairs.
Seating
When purchasing tickets...
You may choose a row when purchasing your ticket, but specific seat locations cannot be selected.
Your seat number will be assigned and provided at check-in on the day of the event.
Once assigned by staff, your seat location cannot be changed.
If you are attending as a couple or a group, we will ensure that all members of your party are seated close to one another.

If you would like to extend your evening in the geiko districts after watching MEET the GEIKO performance, join one of the special evening experiences that include local cuisine such as sushi and kaiseki, an evening walk, and drinks at a bar housed in a former teahouse.
